Real-Time
FX Shaders

FX is three layers deep in IKANDY: living treatments over an image, a post chain over everything, and a play layer for your hands.

FX images

Pick a background photo on the Image engine and run a live treatment over it. The set covers weather and texture (rain, fog, heat haze, dust film), analog and broadcast decay (VHS warp, data corruption, hologram), and paint and material (ink bleed, watercolor, liquid metal, shatter, plasma arc). Every treatment is audio-aware, and the library keeps growing.

The post chain

A multi-pass post chain runs over the whole show: bloom, chromatic aberration, grain, scanlines, vignette, and contrast, each on a live knob with its own status light, plus tone and LUT color grading and a god-rays pass. Beat-reactive particle bursts ride on top as their own layer. This is the finish that makes everything underneath read like one image.

The play layer

Mouse FX and draw mode put the pointer in the show: click ripples, freehand drawing with adjustable width, and particle trails, all blended over the visuals without ever touching the camera.

Performance

Quality tiers (Battery, Standard, High, Ultra) scale the render resolution and supersampling, so the same show runs right on a laptop on battery and on a desktop pushing a wall.
