MIDI, phone remote, gamepad

Bind hardware with MIDI Learn, steer from your phone over LAN, fly with a controller.

Hands on the rig

Three ways to drive IKANDY without touching the mouse: hardware MIDI, your phone, and a game controller.

MIDI Learn

Click MIDI Learn, then move a control on your hardware. That knob or fader is now bound. Bindings can be exported and imported as JSON, so a rig setup travels with you. Bound controls tick green so you can see the mapping land.

OSC

STAGE carries an OSC receiver: switch it on, set the port, and send. Every STAGE control has a stable address (strobe, blackout, GO, pads, and the rest), so lighting desks and show controllers speak to IKANDY the same way your hardware does.

Phone remote (LAN)

Start the phone remote and a phone on your local network can steer the show from its browser. This is intended for a trusted LAN, not direct internet exposure. Use the source-IP allowlist on shared or untrusted networks; leave it empty only when you intend to accept all local senders.

Gamepad flight

Flight scenes accept a controller with zero setup: plug one in and any input takes the controls. Left stick steers, right stick looks, right trigger throttle, left trigger brake. Hands off for five seconds and the autopilot resumes; Tab or the B button hands back instantly. The mouse never touches the camera, it belongs to the UI.

MIDI and OSC control ship in the Studio tier. See pricing; the Steam page is authoritative.
